Senior SAP ABAP Consultant
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for making customizations and enhancements to SAP applications using
ABAP and will be a part of our challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for our client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Work on continuous improvements / enhancements
-
Support Key users / functional consultants on day-to day issues
-
Work closely together with functional consultants and business key users
-
Meet established KPI’s set by the Delivery lead / Delivery manager
-
Manage new developments and maintain the existing SAP Solution
Essential Requirements
-
Strong technical knowledge in SAP ABAP development
-
Strong technical expertise in core ABAP – Reports, Interactive Reporting, IDOC, Interface and Netweaver
-
Good Knowledge on ABAP on HANA and Object Oriented Programming Concepts
-
Must be good in ALV Reports, BADI, BAPI, Enhancements, User exits, Tables, Smartforms, Workflow & Module Pool etc
-
Experience in debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Eligibility
-
Should have a minimum of 10-12 years experience working as an ABAP Developer
-
Should have very good analytical and communication skills
-
Experience in Retail/Fashion Industry highly preferred

SAP FI Consultant ( Bangalore)
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Knowledge of SAP Best Practices with technical implementation experience and command over SAP Implementation Methodology
-
Experience in configuring New GL, AP/AR, AA, GAAP, foreign currency evaluation and country-specific taxation and localization
-
Integration knowledge between FI and other logistics modules (e.g. MM, SD)
-
Experience on Controlling Module including Product Costing and Profitability Analysis , Cost Center Accounting.
-
Creation of Test Scenarios, Test Scripts related to FICO processes
-
Proven experience on configuring and managing financial closing processes
-
Hands on experience in configuring Accounting and Reconciliation processes including Bank , Credit Card and Inter- Company Accounting
-
Understanding of SAP S4HANA Simplifications across SAP Domains FI, MM, SD, PP, etc
-
Develop and Build S4 HANA/ Simple Finance Architecture
-
To be experienced with SAP procurement (end to end procure to pay cycle) and Sales Cycles (Order to Cash)
-
To be able to work with ABAP queries, Report Painter and Report Writer
-
To have SAP Workflow experience & hands-on functional CONFIGURATION experience with SAP FI & CO modules
Essential Requirements

Strong FICO Skills and Accounting skills
-
Good knowledge of Period end and Financial Closing Process
-
Thorough knowledge of Accounting processes related to GL, AR,AP, Bank, Assets, Cost Centre Accounting
-
Experience of Testing Tools and executing testing end to end including test scripts preparation, execution, defect management and resolution.
-
Able to write Functional Specifications for WRICEFs including cross functional objects
-
Exposure in Retail / Fashion Industry will be preferred
-
Exposure to RPA is highly preferred
-
Must have strong communication and team management skills
-
Must have worked in multi Country implementation/roll-out experience
-
Must have worked in development , configuration and testing environments
Eligibility
-
Bachelor Degree/ Post Graduate/ CA/ MBA with Accounting and relevant experience
-
Experience in Retail/Fashion Industry highly preferred
-
6-8 years SAP S4 HANA experience in consulting with SAP FI Implementation
-
S4 HANA/Simple Finance certification preferred
-
Exposure to Blackline or any other Reconciliation Tool preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to bring technical innovation, such as

creation and usage of API’s for business scenarios

exploration and usage of SAP Cloud Platform Services and

SAP Cloud Platform Integration

Non-SAP Cloud Service usage and integration with our services
with the overall objective to continues to improve our process and services, simplify, further digitalize and operate at scale

Architectural guidance and actively engaged definition and constant development of our technology strategy

Collaborate with the team to drive innovation, share knowledge, and support each other.

Develop and promote technical design standards, best practices, guidelines, and procedures

Understand SAP integration architecture and define best practices
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
-
5-10 years of experience SAP technologies: Archiving, SAP Archivelink, SAP Fiori (HTML5/UI5/NetWeaver Gateway), SAP Web Dispatcher, SSO 3.0 Solutions, Sap Workflow,
-
3 years of experience in SAP integration ALE, IDOCS and Web Services / RESTful required
-
DevOps / CICD concepts and practical experience
-
Java, JSON, development frameworks such as SPRING or bootstrap.
-
3 years of experience in Cloud operations: Azure/SAP Cloud Platform
-
Good knowledge of API frameworks & Integration via API’s
-
Good knowledge of process integration tools, like SAP CPI or PI/PO
-
Good knowledge of Azure administration and scripting like PowerShell (Infrastructure as Service)
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
-
SAP certification preferred
-
Able to meet deadlines
-
Leadership experience – Ability to drive teams in a diverse international/distributed environment

Strong communications and decision-making skills – ability to balance conflicting needs
